Wendy Ramshaw designs and makes jewellery to
be worn, but the display and setting in which
the works are seen is also important. In 2004
Blackwell, the Arts and Crafts house in the Lake
District, offered its beautifully crafted décor
as the perfect setting to enjoy an exhibition
of jewellery by Wendy Ramshaw. This catalogue
was published to coincide with the exhibition
and is a well illustrated retrospective covering
four decades of artistic, imaginative and sometimes
unusual jewellery. Blackwell is open to the public
and has a website featuring this and other publications
for sale printed by BAS including Walter Richard
Sickert: the Human Canvas, a catalogue produced
